Add Incident Disposition Codes

Soft Introduction of Incident Disposition Codes

Incident Disposition Codes are being introduced for users to get familiar with the feature in advance to upcoming updates.


Incident Disposition Codes can be selected through the incident card on the Active Incidents panel.

On the active incidents panel:

  1. Locate the incident you would want to select the Disposition Codes for and expand the card
  2. Click the edit icon beside the Disposition Codes header to open the menu
  3. On the emerging menu, select all the Disposition Codes you want to include for this incident by marking the checkbox for each
  4. Click Save when ready
  5. Note the selected codes should now be listed under Disposition Codes

Incident Disposition Codes can also be selected through the Incident Details Page.

Once inside the Incident Details Page:

  1. Locate the Response Info section
  2. Under the Disposition Codes header, click the Disposition Codes button to open the menu
  3. On the emerging menu, select all the Disposition Codes you want to include for this incident by marking the checkbox for each
  4. Click Save when ready
  5. Note the selected codes should now be listed under Disposition Codes

Customizing Incident Disposition Codes (ᵐ)

This is only available for Managers

Similar to Incident Labels, Disposition Codes offer a default list that can be customized from the settings page by managers.

Once inside the Settings Page:

  1. Locate the Incident Settings section
  2. Click the carat to expand the Custom Disposition Codes option
  3. Click Edit to open the editing interface
  4. Inside the Disposition Codes you can create a parent code by entering the name and clicking Create
  5. If desired, add child codes under each parent by clicking the plus icon
    1. Enter a name for the child code 
    2. Click the save icon when ready to complete adding the child code

Adding or Editing Disposition Codes is only possible for web managers at this moment.
