After arriving on scene, users whose Response Type has been marked as Patient Transport will be asked if they’ll be transporting patients to the hospital.

Workflow Message 5: Confirm Transport Destination

• Click Confirm to select your transport destination. This will open up a new dialog box for you to select the destination (see below)
• Click Decline to indicate that you won’t be transporting to a destination. This will end your involvement in the incident

Dialog Box: Select Transport Destination

1. Select your Transport Destination from the dropdown. (Destinations listed here are added by dispatchers through the Beacon web pages)
2. Next, you’ll be prompted to use the Counter to set your estimated time of arrival (ETA) to the destination, in minutes
3. Then use the Counter to indicate how many patients or other cargo you’ll be transporting
4. Finally, click Confirm to finalize your transport details
   • If you added any phone numbers to the hospital, an advanced notification will be sent by SMS to that phone number with the information you just confirmed as well as your name and phone number so that the hospital can contact while en route you if needed
5. Click Cancel to return to the previous screen
