This SMS Dispatch Number feature allows dispatchers to continue creating new incidents via SMS without internet connection – when 3G/4G/WiFi connections are down but mobile phone service is still available.

To add an SMS Dispatcher:

1. On the Settings page, navigate to the Resource Lists section and click View for the SMS Dispatch Numbers
2. Enter the Dispatcher or Device’s Name
3. Select the Data Center
4. Enter the Phone Number, including the international country code

Once your SMS Dispatch Number has been created you will see it listed below where you can Edit or Delete it. 

*** You cannot use the same phone number as both a Responder and an SMS Dispatcher.
